I live in Michigan. My dad needed to sell his house in Lakewood, CO. Working with Tim made the process much easier. Tim went above and beyond his duties as a real estate agent. Tim oversaw some home repairs that needed to be done in order to prepare the home for sale. He contacted local contractors and met with them to make sure everything proceeded smoothly. Great Agent!
Tim was a great agent to work with in the process of selling our home. He is very knowledgeable of the Green Mountain/Lakewood area. Everything was explained along the process in great detail so that we understood what was happening at every step. His response time to all our questions was outstanding. He also was very helpful to always be available whenever someone was needed at the house or we had paperwork to review. He even kept a watch on everything when we were out of town for a period of time.
Tim is a very easy person to work with and we established a very nice relationship with him. I felt he was always looking out for our best interests and had plenty of contractor contacts that were very responsive and great to work with when needed. We were in a fortunate position this year to take our time shopping after we sold our previous home. Thanks to Tim's help with timing, pricing and marketing, our home sale went under contract for full price on the first day of listing, just weeks before prices in the area softened and sales slowed.
When we started shopping for our new home, Tim knew every potential pitfall and soil issue on each street we toured. He was also extremely diligent throughout the paperwork process, aided by his knowledge of potential issues in the area.

I have bought and sold a lot of real estate during my life since the 1970's. Of all the realtors I have ever worked with, Tim stands out as sharing the top shelf with very few others. He was absolutely excellent in the planning, preparation, and execution of our property's sales plan. In addition, he was a great resource to turn to regarding referrals for our " to do" list. He was referred to us by our Northern California realtor, another top shelf realtor. Tim was by far the best real estate agent I have ever dealt with. I really felt I could trust him.
Tim was recommended to me through a friend that had been a tenant. He had rented from Tim while attending Mines and spoke highly of him. I had to move my grandparents pretty short notice up to Fort Collins area in January of this year. When I found out they needed to move I was 7 months pregnant. It was a very sensitive situation and Tim did a phenomenal job. He was so flexible and accomadating to me in our scenario. My grandparents had been in their home for 35 years so there was a lot to do and it was a bittersweet move. Tim understood the touchiness of the whole thing and navigated it beautifully. He made multiple trips to the house while we were packing and moving. He was very kind, helpful, and informative. There was a lot of paperwork and such to go through as I am the owner of their trust and their POA. Tim did all the work on these matters. We needed to sell pretty quickly due to my grandparents financial situation and my pregnancy. Once I had my consult with Tim and expressed this he was very upfront with me and realistic about what we needed to do and what would be the best laid plan moving forward. Once I had the house cleared out Tim had it listed by the end of that week. I had offers within 4 days and we were under contract shortly after that. He really helped with figuring out which offer was the best, safest, and quickest choice for our situation. We closed the sale on the house March 1st. Less than 2 weeks before I had my baby. I feel that Tim really went the extra mile for me to accomadate the difficulty of our situation. Once the house was cleared out he made sure I didn't have to travel down to Lakewood for anything. He had everything sent to me including a notary a few days before the actual closing so I didn't have to make the trip. This situation was so high stress and could have been much harder had I not had somone like Tim to do the footwork. I cannot recommend him enough. He is absolutely the best choice when hiring a real estate agent.

Tim Smith presents as very professional, demonstrating thorough knowledge and a lengthy experience in real estate. He knows how to deal with the common concerns and uncertainties in the process of buying or selling and is excellent at anticipating and dealing with questions or worries. His experience was invaluable in knowing how hard to push the buyer or seller in areas of potential conflict, and he was always careful to recommend the high road ethically when a less honest approach might have been attractive (such as in completing a disclosure statement). He was careful to keep in close contact with the client especially when the property was not attracting offers or there was uncertainty in the negotiations (such as in dealing with inspection objections). Even more, I was impressed that he went out of the way to make the property more attractive when viewings were scarce, such as shoveling the driveway after a storm or discussing staging of the property. I can honestly say that he was always available when I felt like I needed him for counsel or even emotional support; he is committed to his clients. I would highly recommend him for the broad spectrum of real estate needs.
